The tourism sector has grown into one of the most important industries in today's world economy. Cities, regions, and nations are involved in a non-stop competition for the favors of the global tourist flows. The field has become more and more diverse, as a result of globalization and digitization. As an increasing amount of people is able and eager to travel across the globe, different cultures around the world become interconnected.
