This practice can be passed at a workplace in the Czech Republic or, possibly, abroad - under identical conditions. The practice has to be registered in the record book issued by FA BUT. The record book must be monthly checked by the employer. During the time of practice, the student keeps a diary which is checked twice per semester by the appointed teacher.
The objective of the practice is to acquaint the student of the master degree study program with the conditions and relations prevailing in architectural design offices, so that already during the study, he gains experience which, after graduation, will facilitate his professional engagement. The student also acquires up-to-date knowledge which can inspire and stimulate him to further study and improve his preparation before he is assigned the diploma project.
