Why this study program?
The program is implemented by Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) in Vilnius, Lithuania and Fernando Pessoa University (FPU) in Porto, Portugal. The study language is English, students will spend the first and third semesters at Mykolas Romeris University and the second semester at private Fernando Pessoa University. The last semester they will have the possibility to choose between an internship in Lithuanian business enterprises and internship in different partner universities: Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria), Istanbul Bilgi University (Turkey), Oldenburg University (Germany) or Zagreb University (Croatia). After successful graduation students will gain the degree in Master of Applied Informatics.
Objectives of the study program
To train high-level qualification specialists in the field of applied informatics, who are able to understand the tasks related to informative, communicative and technological business support maintenance and the questions regarding the progress of information systems and information science.
Access to professional activities
The main means of applying the career of specialists qualified in business informatics are the design of ICT infrastructure, its effective installation, and creation of business processes. If the specialists effectively apply the theoretical knowledge related to e-business solutions and technologies, strategies of development of e-services and e-business, conducting the research in innovations, marketing, entrepreneurship and market dynamics, they will be able to consult and practically develop the business in e-space and to solve the emerging problems related to application and research.

Architecture of Networks and IS Security, Systems of Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Statistics for Business, Actuary and Models of Financial Markets, Computational Vision, Development of Information Systems, Programming Paradigms, Mobile Computing, Web Applications Project, Mathematical Modelling for Business, Distributed Data Warehouses and Data Mining, Internship.
- Bachelor's degree in law or an equivalent first university degree;
- English language proficiency - the level not lower than B2 (following the Common Framework of Reference for Language approved by the Council of Europe). Distant English language level test is organized for those, who do not have IELTS or TOEFL certificates.
International mobility possibilities
The international mobility is required. 1st semester at Mykolas Romeris University, 2nd semester at Fernando Pessoa University, 3rd semester at Mykolas Romeris University, 4th semester at Mykolas Romeris University or Fernando Pessoa University.
