TSNIIMASH.At the Department of Rocket Engines, contacts are developing with universities and research centers in Germany, France, Italy, China, South Korea, the Union of Myanmar, Brazil, whose citizens study at the department in educational programs for the training of specialists and masters.
Along with mathematics, physics, and material resistance, much attention is paid to the theory of heat transfer, hydrodynamics, thermodynamics, gas dynamics, mathematical and 3-d modeling and design, computer-aided design, computerization of computational, research and design works.
The multilateral theoretical basis is firmly fixed by practical work on a unique set of laboratory and research stands, in research and development, during practical training in leading design bureaus, research institutes, at the cosmodromes of Plesetsk, Baikonur, and Vostochny.The main areas of research and development work commissioned by enterprises, federal target programs, grants of the Russian Federal Property Fund and the President of Russia:Experimental and theoretical research and development of working processes of rocket and jet engines.

With the help of leading organizations in the rocket and space industry (KB KhIMMash named after A.M. Isaev, Research Center named after MV Keldysh, GNPP "Region", Research Institute of Applied Chemistry, RSC "Energy" named after SP Korolev, Scientific research institutes of KhIMMash, NPO Energomash named after academician V.P. Glushko, scientific research institutes of Mash, MKB Fakel, scientific research institutes of Geodesy, FTsDT Soyuz, MIT, TsIAM of P.I. Baranov) created modern stand complexes for research of work processes and development of engines, propulsion and power plants for various purposes, which form the basis of the unique stand base of Russia Coy Federation.
The rocket engine laboratory is equipped with equipment that ensures high-quality performance of the engine testing process (central measuring laboratory, high pressure compressor station, compressed air batteries, oxygen and nitrogen equipment. There is an assembly and mechanical sections for assembling, assembling, equipping, disassembling and manufacturing engines, a section argon-arc welding, allowing to quickly produce new parts and assemblies in the process of modernization of the tested products, metal in new developments.
