Fashion is a social phenomenon which manifests itself through the image. But the image that identifies a brand or fashion magazine not only depends on the designers, it is also the responsibility of stylists, art directors and directors of specialized communication project a message in order to generate a visual impact.
The designer conceives the essential aesthetic to convey the image of a brand, trying to connect its needs with the demands of the various means at its disposal: fashion editorials for magazines, showrooms, catwalks, lookbooks, POS, advertising ... This activity converges with the powers of the director of communications, a strategic figure in the sector must be able to identify market trends and develop a critical mind to implement it in an appropriate plan of communication to the brand, which can range from well-defined essence mark for an advertising campaign, to a right relationship with the media, to organizing an event with celebrities and protocol. Its mission is to know the market as a whole to connect fashion and consumer effectively, and translate what is trending in an attractive visual proposal.
A good analysis gives the overview of the market, a good strategy shows us the way forward and a good deed can be present in the minds of our target audience, becoming all in image and sales results, while remaining one we are.
This master provides students with a comprehensive view of the professional environment of those responsible for the image of a fashion brand. On the one hand through the styling, enabling the student to take on projects in which clothing becomes the axis of creating visual impacts, with particular emphasis on the role of magazines such as art director or editor, for brands advertising, catwalks and showrooms as well as everything related to the promotion and presentation of the product at the point of sale. On the other, forming it to deal making strategic and operational decisions in communication through a theoretical and practical methodology that prepares you to enter the world of fashion brand management, but also in public relations, press offices, the development of brand image and fashion events.
