The courses during the first year represent the textile value chain from idea to design, via production and distribution, to market and handling of backflows.
During the second year, you proceed with textile management but this time specialise in marketing and communication. Here, the focus is on different perspectives on communication and how to get a sustainable message out to consumers.
The courses have a strong basis in current research in textile management with a focus on sustainability in the textile value chain, as well as research in adjoining subjects such as business administration and industrial economics at the University of Borås.
This education gives you the preparation for advanced positions in the industry as well as the academia. After graduation, you are equipped with the tools for working in leading positions in marketing, quality, production or logistics, or you could become an entrepreneur and set up your own business, or continue studying for a PhD.
Bachelor’s degree (180 credits) within Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Textile Technology, Textile or Fashion Design, or equivalent. Furthermore, students must have knowledge of English equivalent to English 6.
