Part-time studies for Master of Science
The master's degree program IT management and information system with the degree "Master of Science" (M.Sc.) ideally combines the latest developments and methods of information technology with business expertise and modules to expand the leadership skills. Graduates of the course to take, for example, responsibility for IT departments, the introduction of new IT solutions or the economic development of their company.
The course is aimed at graduates of computer science and technology-oriented business that would like to take leadership responsibility in a corporate environment in perspective.
1) Professionally qualifying university degree in computer science, applied computer science or technically oriented business of at least 180 ECTS and with a grade point average as a rule of at least 2.4 2) resume and cover letter, setting out the study motives and personal goals 3) Successful completion of the aptitude test in the form of a job interview 4) Basic knowledge in programming, software engineering, databases, project management and networks (Proof of certificates, in exceptional cases, by practical experience) 5) English language skills according to the B1 level of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)" (proof about certificates, foreign language testing, longer stays abroad in English-speaking organizations or Countries or external language tests. If proof as part of the aptitude test a language test is performed.)
The master's program is for career professionals in 31 months. The first four semesters start each week with a presence. More class lectures are scheduled on Saturdays. In the week synchronous e-learning takes place. The fifth and sixth semester are available for the completion of a Master's thesis and the colloquium is available.
