The final exam consists of the discussion of a report for an individual work, carried out by the student under the supervision of at least one professor of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cagliari, about technical aspects and / or relevant scientific area of ' information Engineering.

Degree in Electronic Engineering
I - Knowledge and understanding
Graduates in Electronic Engineering will have acquired knowledge: 1) the methodological and operational aspects of mathematics and natural science related electronic engineering, and computer engineering in general; 2) the methodological and operational aspects of basic and advanced the following specific subjects for electronics engineering: electronics, electrical and electronic measurements, electromagnetic fields, to a level that you can understand and promote technological innovation in the sector; 3) of the advanced methodological-operational aspects of engineering disciplines type of particular interest for the information engineering, and electronics in particular, with specific reference to: for information processing systems, telecommunications, automatic, to a level enabling technology transfer; 4) of the main aspects of economic / social related to the profession of engineer; 5) the specific characteristics of advanced electronic engineering applications in at least one field of engineering information, useful for advanced and innovative applications.
Our knowledge of the point 1) have occurred on the basis of satisfying the input requirements and are strengthened in the two years of the course and through their use for the formalization of the phenomena analyzed and the development of advanced engineering techniques in the various engineering courses that through optional and specific related teachings.
The specific knowledge set out in points 2) and 3) are checked on the basis of the satisfaction of the input requirements, as regards the basic ones, and thus, as regards those advanced, developed and acquired through optional compulsory courses referring to specific sectors information engineering.
The knowledge referred to in point 4) will be developed both through teaching and / or optional internship activities within specific vocational courses in engineering electronics.
Knowledge defined in paragraph 5) are acquired either through compulsory courses and optional professionalizing through activities related to the individual work will be the subject of the thesis.
