The H.T.M. Department offers thesis and non-thesis tracks, both leading to the Master of Science degree.The thesis track is designed with flexible requirements to allow students to develop individualized courses of study with their major professor and committee. It includes courses in H.T.M. and other departments in the Isenberg School of Management. A research-based thesis is required (6-credits).The non-thesis track also includes courses in H.T.M. and other departments in the Isenberg School of Management. In place of the 6 credit thesis, students complete an additional course in H.T.M. or Management (3 credits) and conduct a major hospitality research study (3 credits).While the number of students accepted into the program varies each year, we typically maintain an enrollment of 35 to 40 students. Fifteen instructors, all with doctoral degrees, make up the graduate faculty.
