Our strong links with companies like Microsoft and Siemens have enabled us to develop a practice focused course which is highly relevant to the needs of the industry and right up-to-date with the latest technology and developments. If you're not already in work, you'll have the option of doing a placement for up to 12 weeks, during which you'll work on your independent research project.

We are very proud of our award-winning technology center and our telecoms laboratories built specially for this course. The labs are equipped with special software from National Instruments, including six PXIs which we've used to build our own GSM network, telecoms trainer kits, IP telephones and software including MATLAB, Simulink, Cisco Packet Tracer, OPNET and Modeller 17.0. We also have our own WSN lab, called Senso LAB, which attracts researchers from far and wide – we're currently hosting three professors and a research fellow at two Italian universities.... [-]
