The MSc is connected to the energy and resources industry, with leading academic and top industry professionals contributing to the taught courses.For full-time students, Year 1 comprises eight courses and is designed to deepen/broaden understanding of the field. In Year 2, MSc students can select one of two options: either a research stream undertaking a research project in industry or a coursework stream comprising of a combination of taught courses and short research projects.Part-time study in the MSc is available only to students who are not studying in Australia on a student visa and can be completed over a period of three to five years.Each course is delivered intensively over five consecutive days, followed by a three-hour written examination three weeks later.
