Admission to the UMass Sports Management master's programs is very competitive and is based on both University and Department requirements.
As one of the first Sports Management Programs in the country, the University of Massachusetts draws on 35 years of experience in Sports Management education to offer a 35-credit Masters of Science Degree program. Students take 29 credits of coursework over the Fall and Spring semesters of one academic year.
To earn the additional 6 credits, students have three options:
Complete a six-credit internship with a Sports organization OR
Complete two additional Sports Management electives OR
Complete a Master's Thesis
Admission to the UMass Sports Management master's programs is very competitive and is based on both University and Department requirements.
