These courses meet the professional training and development needs of those who are in the early part of their career in personnel administration, training or industrial relations but are also designed as a means by which experienced senior managers can update their knowledge and place their experience within theoretical perspectives.
Entry Conditions
Postgraduate Diploma - you should normally possess a degree from a recognised institution, or have gained an equivalent standard in a professional or other qualification recognised by the University for this purpose. In addition, you should normally have gained a minimum of one year's relevant work experience in the human resource management function or a related role in the industry, commerce, public sector or social economy. In appropriate cases, candidates who have not acquired relevant work experience may be considered. Exceptionally, candidates without the necessary academic qualifications may offer, as an admission qualification, evidence of suitable further study and/or at least five years experience in a post of professional responsibility of broad relevance to the subject matter of the course....
