The joint master of Mediterranean initiatives on renewable and sustainable energy (JAMILA) is a joint project between eight universities, three of which are from the European countries & five from the Mediterranean countries with the financial support of European Union (EU) under the umbrella of TEMPUS projects. This project aims at establishing a joint master program (curricula reform) in Renewable Energy and Sustainability (MRES) that should serve the market needs of these courtiers to effectively utilize the renewable energy resources and to help support the sustainability of these sources and local environment.
A two-year graduate program with a focus on topics related to sustainable energy and the impact urbanization, transportation and manufacturing have on energy sustainability.
The aims of the MSc in Oil, Gas and Energy Engineering are to prepare graduate students to succeed in a constantly growing, demanding, and highly competitive technological world; provide specialization and extensive knowledge on the area of oil and gas energy engineering; create an academic environment conducive to learning new oil and gas energy engineering concepts and technologies; introduce graduate students to research on advanced oil, gas and energy engineering topics; cultivate analytical skills and critical thinking; promote engineering ethics and moral practices.
The Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering Academic Program, for M.S. students, focuses on modern reservoir description, engineering, and management. Students in this program receive broad training in basic scientific concepts and thermodynamics, geology, geophysical characterization, and reservoir engineering. Our students participate in scientific research activities that may include mathematical analyses, computational modeling, experimental research and/or field studies.
This programme gives an overview of the provision and use of energy in the world today but allows the student to specialise in the rapidly expanding area of renewable energy engineering. The programme is aimed at students wishing to develop a critical understanding of the significant changes afoot in the energy sector due to the development and integration of wind, marine, biomass and solar technologies.
The M.Sc. Sustainable Critical Infrastructure (M.Sc. in SCI) program will be conducive to developing highly skilled researchers and workforce and attracting substantial government and industry interest. The academic program is designed to develop core capabilities, through the integration of coursework and research that is critical to the region. The current scope of the academic programs provides the following set of core capabilities: advanced materials, thermal-fluid sciences, water, and environmental technologies, power systems, computational and information sciences, policy and economic modeling, engineering systems, Microsystems, and chemical processes.

This program is designed to prepare M.Sc. students for their future career by equipping them with the main educational requirements of professional skills to the practice of Materials and Energy Resources field.
