The program includes a broad range track entitled "Electrical Engineering" and a special track devoted to "Smart Grids", organized and run in collaboration with Enel S.p.A. The first track provides solid skills in the areas of electrical energy and of renewable sources, electrical systems in transportation, design and automation of electrical systems. The track "Smart Grids" provides tools to manage the new challenges of electricity systems involving increasing presence of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and of Dispersed Generation (DG). Such a new generation paradigm drives the evolution of distribution networks towards smart grids.
