Ecological science is an academic subject that studies how organisms and their environment work and develop together. Individuals enrolled in an ecological science program improve their basic knowledge in biology, ecology, agriculture, and ecosystems, while also developing hands-on skills in natural resource management and conservation.

Higher level scholars in Finland easily access higher education courses at practically oriented polytechnics or universities. The Finnish culture is easy to learn since the government has set a ministry which is responsible for enhancing cultural, youth policies, sports and international cooperation.

With around 70,000 residents, Lappeenranta city is located on the shores of Lake Saimmaa in the Southeast of Finland. It has 2 universities namely the Saimaa University of Applied Sciences and Lappeenranta University of Technology.
