The Master of Science, or MSc, is an academic degree awarded to those who effectively complete about two years of intensive study on a given topic. Many MSc courses offer a combination of classroom and research-based curriculum.

The study of animal care and welfare focuses on ensuring that the relationship between humans and animals is responsible and humane and that animals receive proper treatment as necessary. Animals are evaluated by considering both behavioral and physical factors.

Northern Ireland (also often called Ulster) is not large by area, but it has 30% of island’s population. There are two main universities, one located in Belfast and another one in Derry and Jordanstown.
