Our Study Plan in Oil & Gas Engineering

This university programme in Oil & Gas Engineering aims at giving a thorough analysis and understanding of problems, challenges and solutions associated with all parts of the supply chains dealing with the oil and gas industry, on-shore as well as off-shore: petroleum fundamentals and exploration, reservoir characterisation, reservoir engineering and simulation, well engineering, purchasing, production planning, design of pressure systems, unconventional resources, inventory management and downstream distribution planning, energy economics management and risk analysis. Along with knowledge of a broad range of logistics topics, the programme gives an understanding of the energy situation in the world comparing existing renewable energy sources, as well as non-renewable sources both in terms of costs, qualities and availability.

The candidates will use a mixture of lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and project work and in addition, they spend significant time in our laboratories, as well as in private study directed by lecturers.
