The MSc Media and Communications Management is delivered in English by academics from the University of Stirling, with teaching from internationally recognised local media specialists and leading Vietnamese media practitioners. This involves both face-to-face teaching, as well as online instruction.
Throughout the course, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the building blocks of communications management, including:
- internal and crisis management
- media economics
- business management strategy
- social media community management
You’ll also have the opportunity to improve your management skills, as well as your analytical perspective on the communications and media industries. You’ll be trained in appropriate research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative.

The Media and Communications Management Masters course includes six face-to-face modules, two online modules and a dissertation of 12,000 words at the end of the coursework period. Dedicated UK-based academics will visit Vietnam at regular intervals to lecture students, and internationally recognised local academics will conduct tutorials and moderate guest lectures and seminars.
You’ll be taught by lectures, seminars and guest lectures. You’ll also need to complete coursework, such as essays and reports.
Modules are assessed by a combination of coursework and examination.
