The MSc in Logistics and Operations Management develops students’ academic and technical skills, providing the breadth of understanding that is vital for successful careers in logistics, supply chain management and operations management.

ISG plc is pleased to be able to offer a studentship of £5,000 to one student who has received an offer to study MSc Logistics and Operations Management for 2020/21.
Students must undertake one compulsory module:
and at least one module from:
Strategic Supply Chain Management
Plus one or two modules (to make up a total of four modules) from:
E-Commerce and Information Technology
International Transport and Sustainable Business
Followed by a 15,000-word dissertation.
Teaching on this programme embraces a range of methods including traditional classwork, group seminars, interactive problem-solving and continuous assessment. In the first stage taught component, assessment involves examinations, essays and project work.
Students who are successful in the taught component proceed to stage two of the programme and prepare a dissertation, due for submission in September. Candidates who achieve an appropriately high standard in the examination and dissertation stages are eligible for the award of the degree with distinction and merit.
Candidates will normally have a 2:1 degree (GPA 3.0/4.0) from a recognised institution in a related discipline, e.g. Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Operations Management, Engineering, Business/Management, Computer Science, Economics, Trade or Finance.
In exceptional cases, students can be considered with other degrees e.g. English, Physics, Social Sciences or Humanities, particularly where there is evidence of significant professional experience in a relevant occupation.
Non-graduates with relevant work experience may also be considered.
Applicants whose first language is not English are required to obtain a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-score (or an equivalent English language qualification).
