Objectives of the Programme
In past generations, people in businesses tended to focus first on the money. Meaning came later. Today, in a world with so many pressing problems, many young professionals feel this model no longer makes sense. ESCP Europe’s Master in International Sustainability Management offers the training for a career that will enable you to make a positive difference right away.
At this two-year programme, taught at ESCP Europe’s Berlin and Paris campuses from term 1 to 4 and wherever opportunity leads you in terms 5 and 6, you will learn what you need to know to become a sustainability manager.
In your first terms, you will study such topics as creating a sustainability culture, reducing the environmental impact of your supply chain, or participate in a corporate consultancy engagement.
In the last two terms, you will write a master’s thesis on a topic of your choosing and pursue an internship with a corporation or non-governmental organization.
By the time you graduate, you will be equipped with the skills and insights you need to help companies be good stewards of the public and the planet.
Be the Conscience of Your Company
Whether you become a key team member of a start-up or an executive at a global corporation, language skills will be important. Sustainability Management is very social work, and ESCP Europe believes strong communication skills will be a crucial part of the job. This full-time, two-year programme is taught entirely in English. In addition, students will be asked to study a second language.
In addition to regular classes and an internship, the programme will give you the opportunity to meet many people who are already working on sustainability issues for corporations and non-governmental organizations.
