Whether your first degree is in Business or another subject, our MSc in International Business will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of worldwide business. By providing you with an understanding of why and how different processes and decisions are made by international businesses, we allow you to take your career anywhere in the world.
Our Master’s in international business is designed to help enhance your employment prospects. It does this by building your knowledge across a wide range of modules. They cover topics such as:

Course structure
As well as our standard MSc International Business, we also offer you the opportunity to study alongside another business topic. Our degrees are flexible. This gives you the opportunity to focus on a specific area that interests you. It also allows you to highlight to future employers what your specific skills and interests are.

All the MSc International Business degrees consist of core modules (ones you must study) and a range of optional modules. In total, you will study nine modules across an MSc degree.

Many of our teaching sessions focus on employability, including guest lectures from industry professionals and industry-run workshops. In previous years we have partnered with EY, BlackRock, and IBM, to deliver guest lectures and workshops to give our students first-hand experience of what is required in the industry. We also gain support from a large number of local and national SME’s who offer consultancy projects for our students to work on. These are designed to add to your teaching and offer you more opportunities to plan for your future career by learning directly from business professionals.
We also encourage group work, group projects, student poster presentations, and other methods that help to build student confidence and prepare for the business world.

Assessment
Assessments will vary depending on your choice of modules.
You will be assessed through a combination of methods, which may include:
- Coursework
- Exams
- Group projects
- Presentations
Some of these are submitted during the semester and others may take place at the end of a semester.
Coursework usually accounts for between 40-50% of the overall degree. This will depend on your final choice of modules.
