Master of Science, speciality General Management
Two tracks available:
- The English Track (requires proficiency in English)
- The French Track (requires proficiency in French)
This MSc’s degree is the IAE network's first and foremost degree programme. It capitalises on this degree's fifty years of experience, retaining its key strengths and successes, and offering its participants a global approach to management to combine with their skills acquired during their first degree. Beyond encapsulating the latest management theories and practices, it focuses on developing change skills and flexibility, often in an international context.
Companies are now seeking generalist managers able to lead the technical, human and managerial aspects of projects and business units. The degree’s interdisciplinary approach to management goes beyond functional barriers and enables participants to better understand a constantly-changing business environment. It fosters the critical analysis of complex situations, developing participants' individual skills (active listening, self-reliance, resourcefulness, willingness to question and change) and highlights the importance of corporate social skills.
From this light, its objective is to provide broad management training to participants from varied backgrounds as a complement to their initial education, thus broadening their career paths through the acquisition of a second competence. The possibilities of attending courses in both French and English provides further impetus to international career paths.
Given the wide range of first specialisations, graduates are hired in a broad spectrum of activities and functions.
