This program primarily provides you with the competencies needed to take up so-called development positions. These are functions, which typically require the ability to integrate technological, organizational and human development processes. Thus, the MSc in Strategy, Organization and Leadership is aimed at qualifying you to a wide variety of functions in private firms as well as in NGOs and public organizations.
In recent years, graduates specializing in Strategy, Organization and Leadership have widely been employed as consultants in management consultancy firms, as system consultants in the IT sector, as development consultants and trainees in large corporations, as human resource consultants or as executive assistants. Some have also chosen to pursue their studies as Ph.D. scholars.
The MSc in Strategy, Organization and Leadership program primarily provides you with a number of fundamental theoretical and analytical qualifications. You thereby acquire basic knowledge as well as a broad selection of methods and tools, which will enable you to contribute to resolving specific organizational and managerial problems.
Profile of Competencies
Students following the program in Strategy, Organization and Leadership will acquire competencies relevant to running private or public organizations from a managerial point of view.

The set of competencies derives from a teaching philosophy, which emphasizes theoretical and methodological training in combination with the case method. This teaching philosophy has a derived effect in leading to a number of communication competences as students during all four semesters regularly will present and discuss the results of their efforts in reports as well as oral presentations. Furthermore, since the program includes group work as well as individual work the student will obtain collaboration and self-management competences. From Studies to the First Job
”Try to find the best possible student job as you can during your studies. That will be very helpful after you graduate - either you will have a normal job afterward or an entry in your CV which will count. Once you graduate, education becomes not that important - your experience is what counts the most and catches the eye of the future employer.” (MSc in Strategy, Organization and Leadership)
