On this master’s degree, you will learn to understand accounting and financial information, analyse problems and participate in management decision making. In this intensive programme, we cover financial accounting, management accounting and corporate finance. A Research Project allows you to develop a deeper knowledge in an area of interest. You will develop the all-around capabilities needed to be a successful accounting or finance professional. These include research and analytical skills as well as team-working, problem solving and communication. It is an intensive course, which has nearly twice the number of teaching hours of a typical accounting master’s degree and covers financial accounting, management accounting and corporate finance. Student support: As a student, you will be assigned to an Academic Adviser who will provide both academic and personal support. Student Support Co-ordinators provide guidance for your course and university-wide administrative issues. A minimum of a second-class honours degree (2:2) in any academic discipline, or equivalent overseas degree from a recognised institution or equivalent professional or other qualification. English language requirements If English is not the first language you will need to have the following level of English language competency:
- Minimum 6.0 (with a minimum of 6.0 in reading and writing and 5.5 in listening and speaking).
- If you have completed your undergraduate degree in the UK (at least one full year of study) you will automatically meet our English language requirements.
