Specialization: Business / Global Development

Students of this program are prepared for strategy-making process and socioeconomic and environmental development of regions. Our graduates are qualified to work on in any public management level in municipalities and related regional entities, public administration, local government, nonprofit organizations, clusters, institutions of development activities. They can also work in businesses, interest group and association, expert consultancy in regional development. The study covers in knowledge making process internalization of globalization processes, social and cultural conditions of regions, regional, geographic and demographic aspects, cultural heritage of regions, environmental conditions and natural conditions.

The competences of the graduates are: practical application of the theory of regional science in global and regional consequences, analysis of regions, and application of environmental, geographic and other expert knowledge is a process of regional development, interdisciplinary approach in management and decision-making process, cohesion of economics, environmental and social knowledge.
