The program aims to provide a general overview of the processes of management and organization. It supports development of the subject specific and key transferable skills necessary for employment in management positions. You have the opportunity to acquire a range of analytical techniques required for the effective tactical and strategic management of organizations, enabling you to develop your IT skills and gain familiarity with a range of financial and statistical software. You will also develop your written and verbal communication skills.
The SBA (Strategic Business Analysis module) allows you to take part in an interactive, virtual simulation where your learning can be put into practice. You will gain a sound theoretical grounding in the broad area of business sand management and will develop a range of communications skills.
This 12-month program consists of eight compulsory modules, followed by a research project (Strategic Business Analysis) or dissertation carried out over the summer period upon completion of Semester 2.

Normally a 2:1 honours degree in any discipline is expected from a UK university, or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar non-UK institution is required. Non-graduates with very extensive professional experience and/or other prior qualifications may also be considered. All candidates must meet our required level of English.
Graduates will gain a sound theoretical grounding in the broad area of business and management and will have developed a range of analytical and personal skills. This will prepare students for management careers and the program will appeal to the students who want to gain a postgraduate qualification before commencing their career path. Newly qualified graduates should enhance their access to a wide range of entry level managerial positions in financial and management services companies, ‘blue chip’ manufacturing and service companies and the major retail industry sectors.

The University's tuition fees are normally fixed at yearly intervals and follow Government guidelines on minimum levels. As a guide only, the normal tuition fees for full-time Home/EU postgraduate students will be as follows:
