MSc Management and Information Governance
This programme spans the domains of management and information governance to provide students with an understanding of management within the modern business environment together with the ability to understand and apply information governance concepts to effectively manage information within organisations.
The programme focuses on information from a business rather than a technical stance thereby producing graduates who have an understanding of business and management, and can interpret and understand business information requirements as well as specific information governance issues. In addition, graduates will have the ability to assess the risks involved in retrieval and storage of information, and have knowledge of relevant legislative requirements to instil trust and confidence in business information. The globalisation of information governance is recognised in the processing and sharing of information across international boundaries and so an international perspective is taken to curriculum content and teaching and learning strategies within the programme.
