Program Description

The MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management equips you with advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills in order to identify areas for improvement within an organisation to gain the competitive edge.

The programme is for graduates from business, management, science and engineering disciplines, seeking to gain skills to work at operational to strategic level. It is delivered by world-class, research-active staff from the Centre for Logistics and Heuristic Optimisation.

The programme enables you to develop enhanced quantitative and qualitative skills to support decision making in any logistic area within an organisation. Logistics and supply chain management problems may include inventory, transportation, warehousing, location, reverse and green logistics and customer and supplier relationships. Graduates of this MSc are able to respond to the challenges in an area that is constantly evolving.

The programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), the UK‘s independent professional body for logistics, supply chains and transport. Students who graduate from MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management are exempt from the academic requirement for Chartered Membership, and while studying your student membership is paid for by Kent Business School. The CILT network connects members worldwide and is the greatest source of professional expertise for the industry. Accreditation and membership deliver significant benefit in terms of career prospects.
