This course lasts 1 year. It starts in October 2021 and ends in 2022. Welcome week starts on 27 September 2021.

Recognition of professional qualifications
As well as being recognised as a higher academic qualification, a number of our degrees are also accredited by professional bodies in the United Kingdom. An accredited degree may entitle you to work in a specific profession within the UK, and abroad (where there are reciprocating arrangements with professional bodies in other countries).
The requirements to practise a profession vary from country to country. If you wish to practise your profession outside the United Kingdom, you are advised to confirm that the UK professional qualification you seek is valid in the country in which you are intending to work.

2:1 or above (or international equivalent) undergraduate degree. Your degree can be in any discipline but must include an appropriate level of business, management, organisation or psychology content.
If you are a UK student and completed your undergraduate degree abroad, your qualification must be equivalent to a 2:1 or above.
We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.
In exceptional cases, relevant work experience may be a substitute for the degree requirement. You should have no more than three years’ relevant work experience.
English language requirements
You will need an International English Language Test System (IELTS) score of at least 7.0 overall. Your scores for reading, writing, listening and speaking must be at least 6.5.
These results must be no more than two years old from the start date of your MSc course.
We also accept other language tests, including PTE Academic, TOEFL. iBT, CPE and CAE.
If you have already taken a test but have not met the required standard, you can apply to take a pre-sessional course at the University.
If you are already studying in the UK
If you completed all of your undergraduate studies in:
a country where English is the official first language
You may be exempt from our English language requirements.
If you have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 or 6.0 you may qualify for a combined offer.
An overall IELTS score of 6.5 may allow you to take a five-week English course before your MSc. Each of your listening, reading, writing and speaking scores must be at least 6.0.
An overall IELTS score of 6.0 may allow you to take a ten-week course before your MSc. Each of your listening, reading, writing and speaking scores must be at least 5.5.
Fees and funding
Home tuition fees: £14,500
Overseas tuition fees: £22,000
All School of Management MSc courses have a £60 application fee. Do not pay the fee until you have completed your application. You can pay the fee using the University’s online payment system.
If we offer you a place on a course, you will need to pay a £1,000 deposit to secure it.

Scholarships and bursaries
School of Management ScholarshipsWe have over 30 scholarships worth £5,000 each, open to UK, EU and Overseas applicants.
GREAT Scholarships 2021In partnership with the British Council and GREAT Britain Campaign, we are offering six scholarships to students from China, India, Pakistan and Thailand.GREAT Scholarship 2021 awards cover up to £26,000 of your MSc course fee.
Other payment options
You can pay your tuition fees by Direct Debit, debit card, credit card, cheque, bank transfer or cash. You may also be eligible for a student loan to help you pay your fees.
As well as the cost of books, you will also need to cover the cost of scanning and photocopying. You should budget at least £100 for this.
Some courses involve engagement away from the University campus, and you may be required to pay some or all of the costs for these optional events.
