The Global Supply Chain Management program builds on Krannert’s core strengths in operations, supply chain management, and business analytics to provide students with skills that will position them well for a career in managing global supply chains. In addition to courses that will develop contextual knowledge and problem-solving skills, the program provides a unique global project experience. The program includes students from Krannert’s global university partners, enabling a sharing of internship and work experiences.

Krannert MSGSCM Program Highlights

1. STEM Certified Program

Krannert’s MS Global Supply Chain Management program lives up to Purdue’s long history of science and engineering leadership by offering an education that is rich in analytical reasoning, statistical insight, and pragmatic business acumen. Graduates of Krannert MS GSCM program are eligible for STEM OPT extension that allows them to work in the U.S. for 3 years after graduation.

2. Real-world Application

The MSGSCM Experiential Learning projects provides students a unique learning experience by working in international teams to apply classroom knowledge to the real world. It is designed to polish and integrate the knowledge and skills you developed from your masters-level coursework by successfully developing an analytics solution with an industry partner. Teams of 3-5 Master’s students complete a project for a partnering company in a summer or fall term for experiential learning course credit.

The student teams are closely supervised by Krannert Operations Management faculty and are responsible for completing all deliverables as specified by the partner company and presenting results to management.

3. Global Perspective

The MSGSCM program brings a unique global perspective and experience to the students by fostering collaboration with different institutions across the globe. These partnered institutions include Tianjin University (China), Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (India), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China).

4. Flexible Curriculum

Krannert’s MSGSCM program offers a wide selection of courses developed by Krannert faculty who teach in the school's elite Operations programs. The option for either spring or fall start date allows for even more flexibility that caters to student needs.
