Program Description

Cornell’s Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Applied Economics and Management (AEM) is a one-year program designed to build upon your undergraduate experience and launch your career with an industry-specific focus in one of five specialized concentrations.


Program Format & Schedule

The MPS in Applied Economics and Management starts in August. The program is two-semesters and 30-credit hours long. Students in the program select one of five concentrations and complete one problem-solving project.


Application deadlines for the MPS in AEM program:

Applicants must submit all application components by the application deadline listed for each round in order to be considered in that round. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

For Fall 2020 Intake

  • Round One: December 1, 2019
  • Round Two: January 15, 2020
  • Round Three: March 1, 2020
  • Round Four: April 15, 2020
