Program Description

A master's degree designed for legal professionals who want to be the best lawyers. Not only knowledge in laws is enough.

The Master in Legal Practice for Lawyers (MJA) prepares and trains to become a professional expert in the legal profession. With the help of professional experts and through the methodology of the case, the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the practice of the legal profession are acquired.

The master's degree is made up of professors who have extensive experience in the practice of the profession and are part of the best firms and law firms.

The training is especially aimed at new members or those who will be collegiate in a while. In addition, knowledge and techniques for the practice of the profession, allows to develop necessary professional skills and highly demanded by large firms in the legal area.

During the master's degree, the student will have the opportunity to practice in professional offices with which Fundesem has collaboration agreements. Most of the students end up being hired in the same offices where they do the internships.

The MJA includes a pre and post masters training period. Within the same program and finalizing the master's degree, graduates who wish to do so have the possibility of expanding their legal knowledge with a general company training provided by Fundesem.


The teaching methodology of the Law School responds to the need to provide practical training and applied to students seeking a master's degree in rigorous law, demanding and adapted to the reality of the company or the Court.

For this reason, Fundesem Business School applies the methodology, called the Case Method, through which the students must prepare and propose solutions to the practical cases that arise during the classes. The Law School programs have practical assumptions such as the simulation of judgments, inspired by real cases. Likewise, the Fundesem Business School methodology favors integration and teamwork to solve real cases. From the School we firmly believe that collaborative work favors the exchange of points of view, opinions and experiences that enrich the student's education.

Structure of the program

The Law School programs have three phases.


The Pre-Master period begins a few weeks before the start of the Law School master's degree. In this period of voluntary assistance, students receive classes in legal fundamentals and use of Office tools and other subjects that can help in the realization of the program.

The Master Period is divided into the following parts or phases:

Areas of knowledge: It is the period of the master's degree where the subjects applied to each of the master's courses are taken. The subjects have been adapted in the announcement of October 2018 with a new agenda that includes topics of Digital Transformation, such as Internet Recruitment, Data Protection or the Tax Aspects of Online Commerce.

Specialization: In the MDE there is a specialization in Digital Law and International Trade.

Master's final project: Preparation of a TFM in which to apply what has been learned with the support and individualized monitoring of a tutor. PERSONAL CAREER PLAN: Accompaniment for the planning of the Strategic Plan of Career Development of the student. Employability is one of the most important characteristics of the Law School.

When students graduate, they can go to a Post-Mater period. In this period the student receives training in three areas:

  1. Strategic keys to promote a professional office. The Program allows to know some of the key strategic keys for the management, development and competitiveness of a professional firm, providing references and essential elements for effective, efficient and innovative management, both in the short and long term.
  2. Digital Business The main objective of the program is for participants to master the keys and obtain a comprehensive vision of the digital ecosystem and its implications for the competitiveness of the company, addressing both business management processes and business opportunities that arise in the new digital environment.
  3. Improvement of English language. Aware of the importance of English for professional development, Fundesem provides students who wish to improve the language during a semester, in the following academic year to the completion of the master.


The Law School of Fundesem has among its objectives not only the acquisition of knowledge and decision tools, but also the development of personal skills or soft skills.

SCHOOL OF ORATORY. In the school of oratory students will learn techniques to expose, argue and defend; very important tools for any professional, but more if it is the practice of law or advice.

OUTDOOR TRAINING. For a couple of days the cases and notes are changed by other dynamics in a learning environment totally different from the usual one that emphasizes the importance of leadership and teamwork and helps to strengthen one's strengths, as well as to discover points of improvement. VIRTUAL JUDGES CIVIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE CONTENTIOUS. ASSISTANCE TO REAL JUDGMENTS. The virtual judgments in the Master of Business Law prepare our students to assume with security and professionalism the legal defense before Courts and Tribunals. Experts from the legal profession and from the judiciary carry out simulations on cases of the most recent news. Visits will be organized to the Courts and the Provincial Court to attend real views in the Hall.

DAYS TO POTENTIATE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES. Fundesem organizes different days and events focused on promoting professional development helping the student in aspects such as knowing the latest trends in job search in the legal area, how to have a more valued and sought profile or how to highlight the skills and personal skills most in demand in the selection processes.


The faculty of the Law School consists of professionals from the business world (lawyers, economists, advisers, judges, judges) in practice, who have extensive professional experience in their areas of teaching.

The Law School faculty has a pedagogical training and vocation, as well as an extensive knowledge of the subjects they teach. Professional practice allows teachers to provide a global vision of the legal world, as well as advice and consultancy. The students of the Master in Legal Practice for Young Lawyers (MJA), Master in Business Law (MDE), the Master in Business Tax Advice (MAFE), the Advanced Course in Business Tax Advice (ASLE), as well as analogous training , they may have, at the end of the course, a complete vision based on the reality of the company.
