Students should develop the intellectual and professional skills that provide them with the opportunity to show evidence of independent and original scientific work. This qualification will further provide the student with the opportunity to display competence in the application of related research methodology, the proper written and/or oral communication of the research process and findings, as well as to reflect on the research process and findings.
An appropriate Honours Degree in the broader field of Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Development or Employment Relations. Students should previously have distinguished themselves as managers or human resource managers with considerable work experience in organisations (minimum of 3-5 years). Students must be computer literate and have Internet access with an Honours module in Research Methodology (NQF Level 8 or 9) and an average of at least 65% for the Honours Degree. Student number constraints necessitate a selection process consisting of a full day assessment centre and psychometric assessments.
