Most colleagues begin by enrolling for a Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits) and can then continue to the Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits) and finally the full MA (180 credits). This stepped award structure provides great flexibility to plan a personal pathway at an appropriate pace. A full-time student would complete the MA in one year. A part-time work-based student would complete the MA in three or more years.We have a wide range of 30-credit modules. These are divided into Issues modules which are about particular areas such as Learning and Teaching, and Impact modules which report on the design and evaluation of changes in the workplace.
