A Master of Arts or MA is a graduate degree typically earned after a program of study of the fine arts, humanities, social sciences or other, similar concentrations. These programs tend to last one to two years.
Those wishing to become educators may choose a program in teacher education. These programs may comprehensively cover subjects such as math, language arts, science or history and the techniques necessary for instructing students between elementary, middle or high school ages.

The course offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to gain a practice-focused higher degree. Specialisms in Autism and SEND are also available. Individual MA modules can also be taken as Continued Professional Development (CPD). Accreditation of Prior Learning is also possible within the all the MA programmes at LSBU.
