The MA in Regional Studies- Iranian Studies is designed for those wishing to focus on a social science approach to Iranian culture, arts, literature, media, society, politics, and economy. This course is suitable for National and international NGOs, government service employees seeking in-depth knowledge about Iran, media professionals, international students seeking a career in government, media, NGOs, finance, diplomacy as well as willing to act as a future diplomate in relation to Iran.

Curriculum

The Master of Regional Studies- Iranian Studies requires completion of 32 credits, with 10 credits in the core courses, 8 credits of specialty courses and 8 credits of elective courses. The program requires completion of a thesis of 6 credits. Admitted students with a different undergraduate degree are also required to complete a few credits of leveling courses which prepare such students for success in the Master of Regional Studies- Iranian Studies, these courses do not count toward the degree. Students must write and defend a final thesis. The curriculum is intended to be completed in four semesters. This program is taught in English.... [-]
