Designed for the classroom teacher, the MAT builds skills in areas such as classroom instruction, curriculum development and classroom management. COURSE OF STUDY This master’s degree program requires completion of 33–36 credit hours of coursework. Courses may be taken on a full-time or part-time basis. Classes are scheduled during weekday evenings with some courses offered online. The program may be completed in 1.5 years of full-time study. Part-time students typically take 2 to 2.5 years of study to complete their course requirements. Those who received their initial teaching certificate through Sacred Heart University may receive credit for some coursework already completed. Corporate Communication & Public Relations Digital Multimedia Production Broadcast and Digital Journalism‌ Designed by leaders in the field and members of our advisory board, MACOMM combines classroom learning with hands-on skill development and professional opportunities to prepare students for success in the ever-changing media environment.
