Migration studies is a rapidly growing academic field that is especially relevant in today’s social climate. Typical coursework touches on historical, economic, legal and sociological aspects of human migration and aims to develop students who can apply learned theories to policy solutions.

Students who complete a part of their degree in Asia are growing in numbers. Currently, the second and the third biggest economies are in Asia. Without limitation, students have described their time in Asia as the best experience of their lives. Today, three of the four most populated countries of the world are in Asia: China, India, and Indonesia.

Expect to take onboard the theories, research tools, as well as professional models and best practices that cover topics such as immigration and citizenship policies; academic and professional perspectives on refugees, asylum seekers and humanitarian aid; and the challenges of migrant social, cultural and economic integration. Our graduates work in both the public and private sectors and in a variety of fields with migrants and asylum seekers across the world. The program offers a thesis track as well as an exchange semester. -
