The Master of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking is a three-year, 60 credit hour terminal degree. Upon completion of the MFA program, graduates will be fully qualified to teach at the university level or compete in the ever-changing landscape of the motion picture industry. The program emphasizes production skills through both a series of production seminars and the thesis project. In addition, students are required to take courses in writing, history, and theory in order to create a more well-rounded education. Students are expected to enroll full time and take nine credits a semester. Students complete two years of full-time coursework. In their third year, students write, direct, produce, and edit a thesis film (approximately 30 minutes)....
