The Biostatistics and Data Science (MA) program at the Medical College of Wisconsin provides a learning experience focused on solid theoretical foundation along with practical experience. Robust course offerings, active engagement in statistical consulting, and a capstone project create ample opportunities to develop essential analytical and communication skills. Consulting projects ranging from the simplest to the most complex protocols and data collection schemes allow students to get experience of working with data in the area of cancer research, cardiovascular diseases, clinical trials, genomics, big data, and machine learning.
