Just what is an MA in Asian Studies? Students who sign on for a Master of Arts in Asian Studies program thoroughly examine Asia’s increasingly prevalent role in global commerce, politics, and culture, and they are generally prepared to take on roles that relate to highly complex economic, diplomatic, and cultural issues. Common topics of study in an Asian Studies MA program include Asian history, politics, security, language, and culture.
