A first, above-average academic degree in American or English Studies (GPA equivalent to the German “gut”, i.e. up to 2.5; grades between 2.5 and 3.5: successful interview required). Students who have received a degree in English Studies need to present proof of a significant focus on literature and culture classes, preferably with America-related content, with their record of transcripts; 2-3 page essay on a topic that will be published on our homepage.
