MA in African Languages (Research)

General

Program Description

A student writes a dissertation on a topic in linguistics or literature giving evidence of the ability to conduct research. This document will be about 100 pages long.

Admission requirements

Students who have obtained a BA Honours with a mark of at least 60% (but preferably higher) in Northern Sotho (Sesotho sa Lebowa/ Sepedi) or isiZulu may register.

Registration and Start Dates

Registration starts in January and lectures in February for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate course work programmes.

All research programmes for Masters and PhD can register throughout the year.

End Date: Academic starts in January and ends in December. Programme deadline is determined by the duration of the programme.
