The high degree of practical experience enables you to critically reflect on your own start-up and to advance it independently. You can exchange information with other people in the field of business start-ups and entrepreneurship in a factual and technical way and involve the stakeholders of start-ups in a goal- and solution-oriented manner. After completing your studies, you have developed an application-oriented understanding of entrepreneurship. With the start-up, management and leadership skills you have acquired, you promote a lively start-up culture and have reflective social skills to establish and expand relevant business relationships. You deal confidently with conflicts, especially within the founding team.

Requirements and applicationIn order to be admitted to the business start-up & entrepreneurship (MA) course, you need a bachelor's degree with at least 180 credit points in a technically appropriate course related to economics. A course is technically suitable if it demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the scientific fundamentals in the fields of a) business administration, b) financial management, c) personnel management and d) marketing. Alternatively, you can be admitted with a bachelor's degree of at least 180 CP with a different scientific reference by completing the corresponding pre-course economics.
If you can prove that you are related to the subject of entrepreneurship through your elective subjects, your bachelor thesis or through professional experience (e.g. starting your own business), you have the option of demonstrating the relevant competencies via an economics entrance test.
