Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering
Master of Science in Engineering
1.5-year or 2- years graduate courses are offered in the area of:
- Aerospace Engineering (1.5-year)- with PEGASUS excellence diploma
Power Engineering (1.5-year)
Nuclear Power Engineering (2-years) Robotics (2-years)
All programmes provide students with advanced theory and engineering methods. Students learn about recent achievements in their fields of study as well as about methods and tools that prepare them for management positions in industry or research areas. The last semester of the programme is dedicated to solving a research problem. The problem statement and solution are the elements of the M.Sc. thesis which is submitted at the end of studies.
Graduates from Power Engineering are prepared for creative work and research within the field of processes control in power industry and in related industries. They can develop techniques of energy conversion and maintain power systems. They can also perform modernisation of machines, implement new technologies, as well as establish and manage small enterprises in power energy sectors. Graduates are prepared to undertake PhD studies in power engineering and in other related fields.
