Introduction
The faculty of Chemistry offers the following program conducted in English:
Master of Science in Engineering
A 1.5-year graduate program in the area of:
Applied Biotechnology
The program contains a wide range of specialist subjects (modeling of bioprocesses, regulation of biotechnological processes, separation processes in biotechnology, laboratory of technological and biotechnological processes, biotechnology of natural resources, etc.), which, together with bioanalytical and elective subjects (bioanalytics, sensors, and biosensors, microbioanalytics) constitute a comprehensive offer for all graduates interested in the field of biotechnology. The main objective of the program is to help students become specialists in a specific field and to increase their career opportunities in various biotechnological branches of industry (e.g. pharmaceutical, food, or composting industry). Our alumni will obtain the knowledge and competencies necessary to carry out scientific research in biotechnology laboratories or to work at planning or consulting companies.
