Facility managers are all-around experts, with knowledge of business and property management, technology, marketing and information technology. They have management qualities and a strong personality that can lead, present and delegate. They show team spirit. Their activities include strategic planning and creative conception.
Client-oriented thinking is especially important since facility managers are service providers for various contact persons.
Property management for industries, trade, banks, and administration is changing. Enterprises require buildings and facilities to be dealt with both economically and ecologically. Such tasks must be holistically fulfilled, by specialists. As an all-rounder, the facility manager not only unlocks savings potential during a property’s usage phase but also ensures functionality and optimises services throughout the building and its facilities.
For the practice-oriented studies in small studying groups arise monthly costs in the amount of 670 €.
- Admission requirement is a university or university of applied science degree in one of the following disciplines: Facility Managment, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, Construction Engineering or similar.
- At least one-year professional practice in the building or real estate industry.
With a compact timetable as well as the renunciation of the usual vacation the consecutive studies permits a studies duration of 18 months, the consecutive course lasts 20 months.
The master program always commences 1st October (winter semester).
Your studies can be financed by the classic German BAföG grant or scholarships offered by different foundations. Additionally different SRH partners in financial service providing offer possibilities of studies funding.
