Program Description

We train experts in sustainability in buildings, both in the design and in the quantification of the efficiency of the measures adopted.

Master's objective

Offer a great development in the field of environmental and construction design, focused on energy management (active and passive measures), materials (sustainable materials, life cycle analysis), environmental certification of buildings (monitoring, LEED, BREAAM) and the new construction systems.

It is committed to training in business and project management that facilitates work in professional teams according to an international and collaborative context in the profession, taught with the collaboration of professors from the IESE Business School.

Addressed to

Graduates in Architecture, Engineering or other equivalent qualifications who aspire to be specialists in sustainability in construction capable of facing the complexity of current projects, respecting the deontological and ethical principles that govern the profession.

The student will need to master Spanish and have a level of English equivalent to B2.

You will specialize in

Sustainable development (environmental, social and economic sustainability); Sustainable and regenerative building design (integrated design of near-zero, active and regenerative buildings); Quantification of sustainability (energy simulation and life cycle analysis); and Validation of sustainable architecture (monitoring of buildings and environmental certifications).

For all these reasons, this master enables the student to work in architectural project teams, construction companies, engineering, consulting and research for the performance of these professional tasks.

With more than 13,500 m 2 distributed over 5 floors, it is designed to favor teaching innovation. It houses 8 classrooms with capacity for more than 400 students, 19 seminars, a library, a great hall and an indoor amphitheater.

It also has different informal learning spaces, a cafeteria and meeting point, and a parking lot with 120 spaces.
