Echoing the widespread commitment of industry and public authorities to promote mobility more concerned about the environment and more energy efficient, Master's degrees of Electric Vehicles Engineering (IVE) is offered jointly by four engineering schools of ParisTech partnership with Renault, with the support of EDF and professional groups of the automobile.


This innovative technology training and job situations, and in tune with the expectations of the automotive sector of tomorrow, aims to promote and deepen technologies for the transformation of traditional combustion vehicles to electric vehicles.

Advantages of the program

This training is the first Master's degree in France that addresses this issue. It fills a need for a strong corporate real demand exists today to recruit experts in electrical engineering vehicles.

Objectives

&nbsp

Technologies to train specialists for the design of future vehicles by providing the knowledge and methods in the following three areas:

  • The first area of ​​the proceeds rather informational: necessary changes in human behavior but also using new computer technology to give virtual autonomy compensating actual loss caused by the use of energy storage in electric form (less efficient than fossil type).
  • The second area is related to electrical systems. The aim is to bring knowledge of technology currently available to perform different functions optimally providing electrical storage and management of energy flows in hybrid or pure electric.
  • The third area of ​​work concerns the impact of this mutation on the traditional crafts of the automobile. The objective is to review the methods of design and sizing of the vehicle architecture in the disciplines of mechanics, materials, acoustics, and mechatronics.

This Specialized Master offers extensive professional skills to:

  • Identify contracts associated with the transition to electrification of autonomous vehicles;
  • Collect a relevant scientific data and select the technical information needed to define a new product is part of a strategy 's innovation of a transport company;

Industrial sequence (30 ECTS): professional mission in a company or organization for a period of six months full time from April to September. These works are the subject of writing and defense of a thesis work late September.

Graduates will be required to perform rapid professions of high responsibility in an emerging sector with major global automakers or their subcontractors.They can in particular be recruited by:
